Alcohol Infused Cupcakes?!?

First of all, alcohol infused cupcakes are EVERYWHERE! And Sweet 52 Ave had to jump onboard! I had a special request for alcohol infused cupcakes with Crown Royal Regal Apple for a birthday boy in Greenville who also bakes. This is one of his favorite drinks. I mean, who doesn't love Crown Apple right now? I immediately started brainstorming complementing cake flavors like vanilla, apple, cinnamon and brown sugar. I came up with a vanilla cupcake soaked in a Crown Royal Regal Apple simple syrup topped with a cinnamon vanilla buttercream- and of course, a couple of shots of Crown Apple. The cupcakes came out lovely and they were a hit! I'll definitely be making these cupcakes again and trying new flavors throughout the year.
